Kenneth Bernard is a playwright and the author of
two previous works of fiction, The Maldive Chronicles and Two
Stories. His fiction has appeared in dozens of journals and
magazines, and he has been awarded a Guggenheim fellowship for
fiction, among other awards. For fifteen years he was a principal
playwright in John Vaccaro's Play-House of the Ridiculous, and his
work was performed at La mama ETC and Theater for the New City, as
well as in Europe, Canada, and Australia. At present he teaches at
the Brooklyn Center of Long Island University. Judith Malina's
Living Theater will stage his new play in 1992, and a third volume
of his plays will also be published this
year. |
